Young Economists’ Convention, Philippines

The Young Economists’ Convention, a partnership between the De LaSalle University-Manila (DLSU) Economics Organization, DLSU-Angelo King Institute, and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, moves with the purpose of endorsing awareness of prevalent economic issues by conducting various conventions, one of which is the 7th International Conference, in the hopes of raising awareness and initiating critical thinking among future leaders.
The 7th International Conference is an annual gathering that brings together outstanding students from all over the globe to tackle pertinent topics relevant to economic issues on an intercontinental scale with hopes of finding solutions to help alleviate these problems. Conjunct to this objective, there will be three plenary sessions, a policy-making competition, and a simulated application. It will be held on the first week of March and will take place in the Philippines. The conference lasts for 6 days, of which participants will take part in not only the international conference itself but also in the 2-day convention of the Young Economist’s Convention.
