Next week Harvard’s largest annual student connection in Asia, the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR), will take place in Dubai. For more then 20 years the annual conferences have brought together students from around the world with today’s leaders and esteemed researchers to discuss about the economic, political, and social future of Asian countries.
The HPAIR Asia Conference 2013 lasts five days and takes place at the Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai (the world’s tallest hotel). Besides, field trips to local institutions and companies are part of the official programme. Since I had Finance as my major during my studies for Bachelor degree, I will be in the Finance panel. Thus, I might also have the chance to visit companies such as Emirates NBD (which is the largest banking group in the Middle East in terms of assets).
I am really looking forward to this event and to meeting people from all over the world, before moving to Scotland beginning of September.
I will keep you posted!
